Sprat's Head


This is a tailoring stitch used to reinforce a garment at a strain point, such as the top of a pleat. It can also be used as a decorative accent. A similar stitch is the Crow's Foot Stitch.

Mark a triangle on the fabric. Follow the stitching diagram below to execute the stitch.
